Agentic-Foundation / MCP Engineer
Accountable for: the agentic foundation — the point where institutional memory becomes leverage: a tenant-scoped MCP server that lets downstream agents query the OKF KB and the typed graph over it.
Responsibilities
- Build and extend
@dossier/mcp(MCP agentic foundation — tenant-scoped GraphRAG over the OKF KB) — the tenant-scoped MCP server and its retrieval tools (semantic + graph search, concept fetch by id, neighborhood/traversal, provenance lookup). - Keep retrieval GraphRAG-first — traceable, explainable paths over black-box vector-only search; enterprises must see why an answer came back.
- Serve from the OKF repo as source of truth — vector/graph indexes are rebuildable caches behind an injectable seam; a model swap must never lose the "company veteran."
- Carry provenance and confidence on every served fact so agents (and auditors) can trust it.
Decision rights
- Owns the MCP server design, the retrieval tool surface, and the vector/graph wiring. The tenant-isolation invariant is non-negotiable: tenant context is explicitly threaded (client → server → scoped credentials), default siloed (one server + index per client), no cross-tenant retrieval ever.
Builds the bridge between the compounding memory and the work it makes possible — fast, sovereign, explainable. Claude-primitives-first (Claude-primitives-first build strategy): standard MCP so any Claude (and the client's own agents) can connect, packaged into the Dossier plugin. Executable form: the
